Vander Kraats was founded by Dennis Vander Kraats, a well-known Doctor of Chinese medicine, naturopath, acupuncturist, and medical herbalist, who ran his own clinic in Perth for over 20 years.
In 1997, Dennis and his wife Marion, began manufacturing proprietary, evidence based natural formulas, commencing with the now popular magnesium based Colon Cleanse product. In 2005 they followed with The Nitric Factor, a formulation which naturally supports nitric oxide levels in the body, and is based on the Nobel Prize winning discovery of nitric oxide’s role in cardiovascular health. In 2018, Bio Active Collagen Peptides and Marine Collagen Peptides were added to the product range, which support collagen metabolism for health skin, nails and joints; improves the elasticity of tendons and ligaments; and promote cartilage tissue growth.
